Super happy with Papertix - a very simple and professional e-display dashboard for my work station. Goes perfectly with my work ambience. Very easy to configure with the web tool
I just received the PaperTix and am very impressed with the level of detail in a kit that is available for this price point. The touchscreen and back-illuminated e-ink display is better than I expected and it's helpful to see four timezones at the same time for my use case. The video tutorials on YouTube were thorough and explained most of the features well enough to bridge any gaps in understanding. It's a great kit, and I think tech literate friends would enjoy this as an addition for their desks. The video tutorials are to the point and explain 90% of what someone needs to know. You did a great job and I look forward to seeing what else you build!
An amazing device in this fully connected world. What Papertix represents to me is potential—an opportunity in a world where you are the product and data is collected in every way, shape, or form. It provides hope that there are ways to solve the small problems of this ever-connected world just by having a desk clock, or a world timer to track the cities that matter. It serves as a reminder that sometimes the simplest solution addresses a habit in need of change: not looking at your phone, and not getting distracted by notifications. I hope to have more features available in the future.
I am a heavy social media user and not going to lie, this tiny device has been a break from all the urge to look at phone for all the reasons. The best feature I like is the the volume control while being connected to my pc, be it for a meeting or watching content.
I can do most of all the things this device offers on my phone, but the whole point for me was to stay away from phone as much as possible and this tiny desk clock is perfect for this.
I reached out to have sun mid day time added, since it already had precise sunrise and sunset time, which I use for prayers. This is well made and simple. Although I would have like more canadian cities on the list. I do think its worth every cent spent.
I like the features, the form factor and the simplicity of set up. Although, I wish it was clearer on the website that the device is required to be plugged in at all times as I would have liked to use it as a travel clock. A rechargeable or replaceable battery would have been appreciated. With that being said I don't regret the purchase at all and I have played with it daily since I've received it.
The build quality is great the the developer is very responsive.
